Global Celebration’s Christmas with the Orphans
Nicaragua - December 23rd 2008 - January 1st 2009
Hello friends, I hope you all are blessed. Time is ticking down until we leave for Christmas with the Orphans and I have some important details to share with you.
Tickets:
If you have not already purchased your ticket to and from Managua, Nicaragua I encourage you to do so promptly. Ticket prices are rising, so be sure to secure your ticket soon.
Arrival- December 23rd – you are welcome to arrive any time on the 23rd. If you would like to arrive one evening earlier to rest (the 22nd) that can be arranged for you. You would be financially responsible to pay for the extra night.
Departure- Jan 1st – you can leave any time on the 1st. The hotel shuttle will be arranged for you.
Once you have purchased your ticket to Managua, please send me a copy of the details as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. We will also be arranging for the hotel shuttle to pick you up when you arrive into the Managua International Airport.

Fundraising Letter
Are you wondering how to raise funds for your trip? One way is to send out fundraising letters to your friends, family and coworkers. We have made a sample letter that you can use. Feel free to use all or part…make changes and make it personal to you.
Another good idea is to host a fundraising dinner at your home. Make a big pot of spaghetti and invite the neighborhood over! During the meal share your heart about the orphans and the extreme need for God’s love in Nicaragua. Tell them about the daily outreaches and feeding the poor that you will be doing along side Global Celebration. At the end share with them how they could help cover you in prayer, sponsor you financially or make donations of gifts and clothing to the orphans. Give them an offer they can’t refuse!
