Today we travelled from Dobritch, which is on the eastern coast of the country on the Black Sea, all the way over to Bulgaria's capital, Sofia, which is located on the west side of Bulgaria. The trip was probably 8 or 9 hours and I'm telling you this group can have a good time no matter where they are, or how long the journey.

After we checked back into Hotel Central in Sofia we got back on the bus and headed over to New Life Church, which is Pastor Zhorro and Mariana's church here in Sofia where we proceeded to celebrate with an all night worship party!

A big party favorite were our drinking stickers which we have Jean Nelson of New Orleans to thank for. They really helped pass the annointing around! You can see them being sported in probably just about every photo below!

I don't know how, but there were at least half a dozen brand spanking new church visitors there tonite. Can you imagine the images below being your first ever church experience? These folks of course stuck out like sore thumbs as they stood rod straight hands at their sides and had complete and total looks of shock and amazement on their faces as they watched all of us worship and celebrate God's love. I can happily report that by the end of the night all of these folks were 'one of us' and I even got of few shots of the newbies laying hands on and praying for us!! (I've recieved reports since then that these folks have either joined New Life Church, or Pastor Stanislov's church which is where the team visited and worshipped the following night)

A main project that Global Celebration Ministires has begun is the first Gypsy Community/Cultural Center which we are wanting to build in Kazanluk. The vision is for it to be the first ever center created for the Gypsies of Eastern Europe. Located in the center of Bulgaria it will be a place where Christian Gypsies can hold conferences, retreats, recieve training for skills in the arts, computers, English language, and Bible studies.

At New Life Church tonite Pastor Jerry Frazier of Georgia took up the first offering for this project and we raised one third of the cost of the purchase of the building right there on the spot! Hallelujiah!

Sweet Zhorro and Mariana also performed a deep expression of love for Georgian and Winnie by washing their feet while pastor Angel thanked Georgian and Winnie and told of how his first encounter with Georgian was in the early 90's where he came accross Georgian handing out Bibles.

It was a beautiful night and we have become a close knit family of Jesus enjoyers! The team is now going to spend the next three days enjoying Sofia while myself, my husband, Georgian, Winnie and all of the Mitko Pastors and their wives travel to Istanbul to prepare the road for next years trip.
