Yesterday we flew into Johannesburg. It was a long flight with a huge layover in Singapore, and we were pretty jet lagged by the time we arrived. However, when Peter of Iris Ministries, Pretoria met us we perked right up! He is Pure Gold and we really enjoyed his Holy Ghost company. We went shopping and got some equipment that Rolland will need up in Malawi, and also got some duffel bags so that we could "down size" our luggage for when we fly in Rolland's little plane.
Tonight, we just finished a fantastic meeting at Spirit Word Ministries in Stilfontein (Klerksdorp), South Africa.
This was an awesome church! There are so many young people and they have a true hunger for the Word and a passion to worship God. They were truly on the level with the message and we preached for over an hour -- we were able to go into some pretty deep revelations. After preaching we were able to do some of my music from 'Highest Praise' and then pray for the people. The anointing was sweet and the people were engulfed in Glory and Love. There was so much intimacy in the Father's embrace.
The service was televised and will be shown all over Africa. They are also taking some of the footage we brought featuring Heidi and Rolland and will be using it for their TV show, as they have a real heart to reach all of Africa.
Tomorrow morning we fly up to Malawi to meet with Heidi and Rolland. We will be doing 4 days of evangelistic crusades there, and will be feeding the people with the small herd of cows that we bought, and of course lots of their beans and maze that they also love to eat. They are expecting more people than last year, maybe 10,000, and we are pretty excited about it. Last year at this location, we did a similar feeding crusade and 200 churches were born out of it (Heidi and Rolland call them the 'chicken churches').
Next we fly to Pemba to do a smaller conference, and then Maputo for another conference and ministry to the orphans.
After that we fly off to Cape Town, South Africa and will minister on Sunday morning and evening, July 25th at:
